Rachelle Mauer, M.S., CCC/SLP, is a licensed practicing speech-language pathologist and cofounder of Achieve, AchieveCT.com. As a cognitive-communication specialist her primary goal is to help individuals realize their highest levels of communication, cognition, and efficiency in their lives. With a background in neurodevelopment and communication, she specializes in the areas of executive functioning, pragmatic communication, learning disabilities and cognitive/communication development.

Rachelle focuses on the whole child, from her viewpoint as a speech language pathologist as well as a parent. With a degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Emerson College in Boston, Rachelle’s clinical background include public education, in/ outpatient facilities and private practice. Rachelle is passionate about helping people to articulate what is in them, to connect and communicate. She serves on healthcare councils at the community level. Rachelle is an ASHA- certified Speech-Language Pathologist and licensed by the departments of health and education.

Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP 
Mindy is the co-founder of Achieve. She has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for more than 25 years. She is certified by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Connecticut Department of Education and licensed by the states of CT, RI, and MA. Her goal is to assist individuals with developing methods to gain skills and self confidence to improve their quality of life at home, school and work. Mindy's interests and experience include: executive function coaching, social-pragmatic language skills, feeding and swallowing therapy, and the use of assistive technology to enhance communication and academics.  

Prior to working in private practice, Mindy was the Pediatric Coordinator at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and the Clinical Dysphagia Specialist at Morton Hospital and Medical Center. She has worked in public and private schools with preschool through high school children, provided social skills training for adolescents and teenagers (Center for Autism),  and cared for communication and dysphagia residents in numerous rehabilitation facilities. Mindy founded Killingly Kares, a non-profit organization supporting the needs of children and families touched by autism.


Mindy has been a Speech and Language Expert Advisor for iParenting.com and the Walt Disney Internet Group for 10 years. Her articles have been published both online and in newsstand magazines including: Baby Years, Family Energy, Twins, and Women’s Health & Fitness. Currently, Mindy can be seen on social media as a Contributor for 30Second Mom (30SecondMom.com) providing tips on speech and language issues, health and just everyday mommy business!
